The Light Mind Meditation app presents ancient spiritual teachings, translated by Rama - an American teacher, in a meaningful context for modern living. Quotes are available in both audio and text formats, set against stunning photographic backgrounds that immerse you in realms of wisdom and silence.

During life’s various challenges, Light Mind Meditation can help guide you towards a broader perspective and brighter mental states.

This app aims to provide a positive impact during times of confusion and disharmony when individuals are reflecting on what truly matters. Its goal is to offer insightful nuggets to those seeking a respite from the noise.

The meditative quotes in the app aim to instill a meditative mindset and share techniques for delving deeper, finding equilibrium, and embracing life with greater strength and joy.

How the app works:

 <li>Meditate with Rama offers guided meditations accompanied by quotes that can help you achieve stillness.</li>
 <li>Receive daily quote notifications at noon each day (which can be customized in Settings).</li>
 <li>Upon opening the app from the phone icon, you will be directed to the landing page where you can begin the sequence of daily quotes.</li>
 <li>The menu encompasses features such as:
 <ul>
 <li>Daily Quotes - initiates a sequence of randomized daily quotes</li>
 <li>Meditate with Rama - starts a timed, guided meditation</li>
 <li>Schedules - allows you to set up quotes from different talks to be delivered throughout the day</li>
 <li>Search - locate quotes by searching for keywords (e.g., love, strength) and listen to them sequentially, shuffled, or as a guided meditation</li>
 <li>Favorites - enables you to listen to all your favorite quotes sequentially, randomly, or as part of a guided meditation</li>
 <li>Settings - lets you customize settings like:

 <li>Text on/off</li>
 <li>Audio on/off</li>
 <li>Time delays between quotes</li>
 <li>Daily quote notification time</li>

''About Rama: Rama was born in San Diego, California in 1950. He was raised on the East Coast amidst the Rock N Roll culture and influenced by the counterculture of the 60s. In his teens, he was drawn to Buddhism and subsequently studied meditation under Eastern teachers. After dedicating countless hours over many years to meditation practice and teaching, he attained a non-dualistic state of equanimity and brilliance known as Samadhi. Sadly'' Rama passed away in 1998 after a lifetime of service. He believed that everyone is capable of achieving clear, joyful, loving, and powerful mental states through meditation and mindfulness.
